What You Need to Know Before NAET Treatments

Dr. Devi Nambudripad explains in her book “Say Good-Bye to Illness” that her healing journey began when she followed her mother’s advice and turned to God (2002, p. XXX). As she worked to develop NAET she recognized the hand of the Creator in how the body works. True health is a gift from God and God is the only one who can and does heal each one of us from our suffering. NAET is a process that helps promote health just as good nutritious food does. As we wisely use the many tools that have been provided for us, we can become an active participant in our healing journey.

NAET does NOT replace the use of other important tools on your health journey. Please continue all medications, psychotherapy and other therapeutic tools that are helping you progress on your health journey.

Ideally patients are treated for all 17 basic food groups which include: BBF, Egg mix, Calcium mix, Vit. C mix, B Comp mix, Sugar mix, Iron mix, Vitamin A mix, Mineral mix, Salt mix, Grain mix, Yeast mix, Acid, Base, Hormones, Organ mix, and Vit. K mix. These food groups contain essential nutrients that are essential for health. Sensitivity to any of these food groups can cause nutrient deficiencies that can create a cascade of health problems. Generally only one mix should be treated per day. After treatment, the patient will need to avoid the substance that was treated for at least 25 hours. For example, after being treated for eggs all foods containing eggs or chicken products need to be avoided for at least 25 hours. This will take some planning and careful awareness during this critical time that your body is reprocessing this substance.

After the practitioner has determined that the patient is no longer reacting to the substance treated, the patient is encouraged to eat food containing that substance and enjoy the nutrients that food group offers to your body. Consuming food that is as close to nature as possible is encouraged. Highly processed foods often have additives that increase inflammation and processed foods often lack nutrition that is vital to sustain health.
